North Georgia Jaguar Club

The JCNA affiliated North Georgia Jaguar Club was started by Roy Cleveland, Joe Newell, and Terry Hulsey in late 2001. These three prominent Atlanta area Jaguar enthusiasts, along with other like-minded Jaguar owners and enthusiasts, wanted to participate in the wider range of JCNA organized automotive related activities than was being offered by the local Jaguar club. Enthusiasm for the JCNA club was evident from the beginning as our new club quickly grew holding our first sanctioned Concours in the fall of 2002 and hosting the JCNA Challenge Championship at Chateau Elan in 2005 to rave reviews. Club membership is now over one hundred and fifty and many of the early members are still very active in supporting club activities including Dick Maury, who served as JCNA President from 2010 to 2015 and continues to host our award-winning club web site.
Hennessy Jaguar has been our good friend and club sponsor from the beginning hosting our annual Concours and holding numerous special events at their dealership locations. Our club's intent is to enjoy Jaguar automobiles, preserve and advance the Jaguar Marque, and share information about maintenance, restoration and use of these great automobiles. Our members own the full range of Jaguars from the oldest to the newest and we welcome both. There is something for everyone from driving tours, visits to private car collections, overnight drives, car shows to include our annual, internationally-sanctioned Concours d'Elegance, slalom competition and social events. Most Jaguar owners feel that theirs is much more than just another car. Our club is here so we can enjoy our cars and the camaraderie of a great bunch of Jag-Lovers.

Thank you for attending the 2017 JCNA IJF

This event was held at the renowned Lanier Islands resort in Buford, Ga., just 45 minutes northeast of Atlanta. The venue covers 1,500 scenic acres, all on interconnected islands in the middle of picturesque Lake Lanier. Events were spread across several of the islands and there was a dedicated trolley shuttle around the event sites.
Thursday evening’s Welcome Reception was held lakeside under a pavilion overlooking the lake with the beautiful North Georgia mountains as a backdrop. Various JCNA-related activities included a Slalom on Thursday, the Concours on Friday, and the Rally on Saturday. The rally had an unusual and fun format, while still meeting the JCNA requirements. There was a scenic drive option and all scheduled daytime IJF activities included lunch, with additional lunches available for purchase, so there wasno need to leave the resort to eat.
There was a Friday Sunset Cruise and Buffet Dinner on the lake (complete with onboard entertainment). Seating was limited, so a second boat was added. There was a showing of Grand Prix with dinner for those unable to secure seats on the cruise.
There are various sources of pictures of the event. Here is a link to the pictures taken by David Weaver & Wayne Lester
"If you are looking at the thumbnails or individual pictures, each photo has a download icon and a buy icon. Downloads are free so they can use as a screen saver, email friends, or send to Walgreens, Costco, or wherever for printing. If they prefer to order through the site, the prices are at the print lab's base pricing with no markup. At the top of the page, next to the Buy button, there is a slideshow ‘play’ button but it is not well marked." .
